So, you're stuck inside and watching the blizzard unfold? Well, sounds like the perfect time to make a phone call and write your letters to the Revenue Committee (check out our previous post here for letter info)
Wouldn't it be great if the Revenue Committee returned to Lincoln with their voicemail-boxes overrun with calls to "strike massage from LB314, 497, 507, and 508?" Show them we are are paying attention, passionate, and will not let them overlook us. With the second round of hearings on this subject coming up on Friday March 1, this weekend is the perfect time to do it.
Invite friends, family and clients to participate. The message is short and to the point - Massage therapy in Nebraska is a state licensed healthcare profession and it is against Nebraska policy to tax healthcare. But, because the message is so short, we need the volume of calls to be high.
