Where do you practice: Omaha. I’m 100% mobile for now.
What Massage Modalities do you practice: Swedish and deep tissue.
How do you spend time outside of work: I like to listen to audiobooks and snuggle up with my husband and kids watching movies together. My husband and I also enjoy helping with and attending themed events in the area.
How do you promote the massage therapy profession in your community: One person at a time. The terminal cancer patient that nobody else would go to in the hospital, the wheelchair-bound woman, etc. Each individual gets my absolute best when I'm with them.
In what ways do you participate in your community: I haven't had much opportunity lately but I'd love to reconnect with the Foster Care Closet again. I also enjoy helping to decorate themed (specifically nerdy) events in the area.
Do you have any words of wisdom to share that have helped you in your career: Keep an eye and ear out for opportunities but don't try to force your business into any preconceived idea of what it "should" be.
