Introducing AMTA-Member Sarah Wettstein of Omaha, NE, one of this year’s Nebraska Chapter's IMPACT MAKERS.

Here's is the info you should know about Sarah in her own words:

LMT years: 13 Years

AMTA years:  13 Years

Where do you practice:  Omaha Massage Envy

What Massage Modalities do you practice: Deep tissue, swedish, trigger point, stretch, hot stone, cupping, reflexology,  prenatal,

How do you spend time outside of work: With my family and friends

How do you promote the massage therapy profession in your community: Help people fix issues to let them know the benefits. Explain why massage is important but also why certain areas can cause pain in other areas and why it should be worked. Education is important for therapists and client.

In what ways do you participate in your community:  School events for my son and college events for my daughter. Help with parties, fundraisers, and work gatherings and committees. I'm a trainer for other therapists.

Do you have any words of wisdom to share that have helped you in your career:

You will never please everyone all the time so take pride in what you do but know you are not always the right answer to what a person may want or need.

People are crazy but they keep the job interesting.
