Introducing AMTA-Member Dennis Varley of Lincoln, NE, one of this year’s Nebraska Chapter's IMPACT MAKERS.

Here's is the info you should know about Dennis in his own words:

LMT years: Since 2013.

AMTA years:  2013. I became a member right after college. 

Where do you practice:  The Body Shoppe LLC, Massage clinic in Lincoln, NE.

What Massage Modalities do you practice: Deep tissue, Swedish, Sports, Myofascial release, Neuromuscular, and MAT.

How do you spend time outside of work: Spending time with my family and friends, & watching my youngest swim.

How do you promote the massage therapy profession in your community: Social Media and word of mouth.

In what ways do you participate in your community:  Collecting and giving donations to the People City Mission, in Lincoln, NE to help those that are less fortunate.

Do you have any words of wisdom to share that have helped you in your career:  

Do an assessment on each client. Just because that is where it hurts, does not mean that is where the problem is.
