Sports Massage for the High-Level Athlete: Event, Clinical and Ethical Considerations

Omaha is once again the site for the U.S Olympic Team Swim Trials this summer and we are excited to be a part of this awesome event! We have teamed up with Universal College of Healing Arts (UCHA) to help bring excellence for the athletes in June. UCHA and AMTA-NE will hold an education workshop

About The Event

Registration is from 8:30-9:00 AM; Workshop 9:00 AM-5:00 PM which includes an hour lunch (meals will be provided) and TWO 15-minute breaks. You must be on time to participate.
The CE Workshop is 10 Hands-on HOURS, 3 Non-Hands for ETHICS, plus FREE 3 Hours of Lab Hands-on for volunteering at the Swim Trial Olympics. Total Hands-on = 13 hours. The Grand Total for the CE workshop is 16 hours (13 Hands-on and Three Hours Ethics). The cost is $310.00 which includes light breakfast and lunches both days.
CE ONLY (No volunteering at Swim Trials): If you choose to only take the CE workshop and not volunteer at the Swim Trials you will earn 11 hours of CEs (3 hours Ethics and 8 Hands-on Hours). The cost is $270.00 which includes light breakfast and lunches both days.
The Workshop provides skills to work on all athletes with an emphasis on swimmers. This includes skills in Pre-event, Inter-event, Post-event, and Maintenance & Rehabilitation Sports Massage. There is an additional focus on how to work with a medical team, how to work with athletic groups, and tips for advancement in the Sports Massage Field.
