Structural Muscular Balancing
AMTA-NE chapter is hosting SMB again and this time it will be the 4 day workshop, teaching the original information plus the muscle testing. Due to the intense information included in this workshop, we are asking you to make a commitment to the entire 3 1/2 days. It is going to take place at Platte River State Park, south of Omaha and east of Lincoln. This is a great location for taking a walk during our breaks. Please note: If you are an AMTA member, or you would like to become one, we have reduced the price of the workshop to give you a discount at or more than your membership cost.
Every Body's Unique
Structural Muscular Balancing honors the concept of uniqueness and individual needs and uses tools to assess the client's own neuromuscular patterns through proprio-ceptive feedback. The SMB protocol guides you through the main structural muscles, creating a balance that is felt immediately by both therapist and client.
Though gentle and noninvasive, SMB is extremely effective at working deep within the client's body to reset neuromuscular patterns that are creating tension, pain, and discomfort.
SMB can be conveniently incorporated into your current method of treatment, enhancing your skill level and the benefits your clients receive.
In this training, the participant will:
*receive clear, concise instruction and background information
*observe skilled demonstrations
* experience hours of hands-on practice
* participate in question/answer sessions
to ensure personal comprehension

The participant will learn:
* A system of identifying dysfunctions in
the neuromuscular system in the areas of the head and neck; anterior pelvis, torso, and thighs; ligaments and muscles of the posterior pelvis; muscles of the spinal column
